CSU-ERFSA Thanks Melanie Mamakos and Welcomes Rosa Carrillo

October 22, 2026

photo of Rosa CarrilloAfter 11 years of dedicated service, CSU-ERFSA Office Manager Melanie Mamakos has left the Association. Her departure was prompted by unexpected circumstances unrelated to CSU-ERFSA, and came much sooner than either Melanie or the Association would have wished. We are deeply grateful for her years of commitment to our members, her invaluable institutional knowledge, and the warmth and professionalism she brought to her work.

We are delighted to welcome Rosa Carrillo as our new Office Manager. Rosa brings extensive experience in financial management, bookkeeping, and administrative operations across a variety of industries, including professional services, construction, and executive office administration. She has managed complex financial operations involving multiple businesses, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Her experience also includes employee benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and coordination with accountants and other financial professionals. Importantly for CSU-ERFSA, she is proficient in QuickBooks Desktop, the accounting system used by the Association.

We are especially grateful to both Melanie and Rosa for their commitment to ensuring a smooth transition. Despite the short timetable, Melanie generously shared her knowledge and experience, while Rosa stepped into her new responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism. We look forward to working with Rosa and invite all CSU-ERFSA members to join us in welcoming her to the Association.
