The Chemistry and Physics of Climate Change

 

This one-hour presentation by CSU-ERFSA Webmaster Mark Shapiro focused on the connection between basic, well-established laws of chemistry and physics and the changes we are seeing in our climate. Topics presented included the difference between climate and weather, the atmospheric greenhouse effect, climate models and how they relate to the basic science, and how does the actual climate data compare with our predictions.

 

The live presentation which took place on September 29, 2021 via Zoom was attended by a number of CSU-ERFSA members as well as members of the CSU Fullerton affiliate. In addition, the virtual presentation was recorded and posted to YouTube so that it could be viewed by those who were unable to attend the live presentation as well as the general public.
